  1. Make sure your cod fillets are patted dry, especially if they were previously frozen and thawed.
  2. Apply 1 teaspoon of Blackened Seasoning per 4 oz. of raw protein. Pat seasoning on evenly to one side of the protein.
  3. Heat up your fat of choice in a sauté pan over medium heat.
  4. Place the protein seasoned-side down in the hot pan and do not move it around or flip it until 3-4 minutes have passed.
  5. Flip and cook 1-2 more minutes.
