Simple Sautéed Plantain Slices

Ingredients
  • 2 large plantains, peeled and sliced ½ inch thick
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • salt to taste
Instructions
  1. Heat an electric skilled to 325 F (or a pan over medium-low heat). Add the coconut oil.
  2. Add the sliced plantains to the pan, and do not flip them for 10-15 minutes, until they are dark-golden brown on one side.
  3. Flip and salt to taste. Cook another 8-10 minutes on the other side.
  4. Enjoy!
